A kesiera is a jeweled pendant on a chain worn as a hair ornament on the forehead, popular in Cairhien among the high ranking female nobles. The pendant is commonly made of a precious stone. Moiraine Damodred is known to wear a kesiera with a blue stone. She uses this stone as a focus for an eavesdropping trick with the One Power.
